UZilla.org is owned and operated by the publishers of SQA.net and software-quality-assurance.org. Our two main software quality sites examine the definitions, theories and practices of software quality assurance and software process improvement using CMMi.

UZilla.org provides a more detailed and practical approach to website design, usability and search engine optimization than could be provided within the more general software quality websites.

At UZilla.org we believe that there is the potential for the search engine providers to include usability characteristics in determining webpage ranking for a given search term. Consider that usability is mainly concerned with providing ease of use for a product or service. Then consider the search engine objectives are to provide the most useful web resources as a search query response. The content itself is only a part of the value of the web resource; it is also the presentation of the content that, in relation to the given purpose of the searcher, determines it’s the value or ranking.
